SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS SUMMER SCIENCE & MATHEMATICS WORKSHOPS (SSTP)Hands-on workshops for 8th – 12th graders led by Millersville faculty and staff.July 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, and 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Two tracks are offered for students in grades 8-12, with morning and afternoon workshops on a wide range of science and mathematics topics. In addition, there is one research track for up to six students in grades 10-12 that emphasizes programming, robotics, webpage design, and video game design. The Annual PA Dept. of Education Conference will be held April 6-9 at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center in Hershey, PA. This conference is FREE to parents. Parent scholarship requests need to be postmarked by this FRIDAY, 2/19.  Parents of children with IEPs are eligible for registration fee and hotel room costs.  Parents of children with GIEPs are eligible for waiving of the registration fee only.  For Parent Scholarship Information  & forms see pp. 13 & 14 of the conference brochure.
